Rubio Dorado Ham

From the legendary and almost-extinct golden pig, comes a unique ham, Rubio Dorado.

Rubio Dorado pigs are naturally fed on chestnuts and acorns during an exceptional 3 year long Montanera (period of acorn feeding). This slow and healthy conservation, has resulted in an extremely high oleic fact content (above 62%), incredible flavours and superb quality meat.

To safeguard this fragile breed, as well as to protect the growth of the herd, only 120 pieces of ham are produced each year.
